Approval of Region One Education Service Center Dual Language Program Implementation Learning Walks and Executive Reporting Services for the 2026–2027 school year in the amount of $92,800 utilizing funds from the Bilingual Education Allotment. Presenter: Stephanie Powelson-Garza Description: Region One Education Service Center will provide two rounds of Dual Language Program Implementation Learning Walks at 14 Donna ISD campuses during the 2026-2027 school year. The learning walks will monitor program implementation and gather evidence related to biliteracy instruction, language allocation, instructional alignment, student engagement, and overall program fidelity. Following campus visits, Region One ESC will provide executive reports identifying district wide and campus-specific trends and actionable recommendations to guide instructional decision-making, professional learning, and continued improvement of the district's Dual Language program.
