Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

The property owner of 333 Carlin Road is requesting the abandonment of an existing utility easement located on the property. The easement has been reviewed and confirmed by the applicable utility companies, and no existing utility lines are located within the easement. Additionally, the utility companies have indicated that there are no plans for future utility use of the easement. Because the easement imposes restrictions on the use and development of the property, the property owner is requesting that the easement be abandoned. Based on confirmation that the easement is not currently utilized for utility purposes and is not planned for future utility use, the abandonment would remove unnecessary restrictions on the property owner's ability to utilize the property.
