10.e. APPROVAL OF 2026-2027 T-TESS APPRAISERS: Speaker(s): Dr. Gregory Nelson, Superintendent Description: The Board will consider approval of the administrators designated to serve as Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraisers for the 2026-2027 school year. Approved appraisers will be responsible for conducting teacher observations, evaluations, conferences, and related appraisal activities in accordance with District procedures, applicable requirements, and the Lorenzo ISD 2026-2027 T-TESS and Appraisal Timeline. The established timeline outlines required T-TESS training and orientation, self-assessment and goal-setting deadlines, walkthrough and formal observation procedures, pre-conference and post-conference requirements, and end-of-year appraisal deadlines. Approved appraisers will be expected to carry out their responsibilities within these established timelines and ensure that appraisal documentation is completed and maintained as required. The Administration recommends approval of the designated appraisers to support a consistent, timely, and compliant appraisal process for the 2026-2027 school year.
