Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

The City of San Angelo Water Utilities Department recently requested rebids for the chemical purchase of Caustic Soda for the Water Production Plant for use in the treatment of potable water. The respondents were also to meet certain specifications and delivery requirements. The previous bid for this chemical purchase was rejected by city council and requested delivery days to be extended in order to receive and accept lower bids. The City received three bids that met all criteria and the bid from PVS DX Chemicals was the lowest.
