Consideration and Possible Action to Approve an Out-of-State Trip for the Superintendent Presenter: Rick Kirkpatrick Description: I have been invited to attend the Innovamat SUMA Summit in Mexico City, Mexico, from April 21–25. The summit is for educational leaders from the US and Mexico designed to be transformative, guiding participants from reflection to action while expanding their strategic vision and refining their leadership approaches. During the Summit, we will visit one fully bilingual campus to observe math instruction and one IB Diploma campus based on critical thinking, creativity, and resilience. Innovamat covers the cost of accommodations, all lunches, and transportation within the conference. The district will pay for the cost of the flight, four breakfast meals, and four dinner meals while on the trip. The estimated cost to FISD is $767.00.
