Mayor Weiss opened the item and stated it was discussed during the worksession. Mr. Coffman proposed that they adopt the resolution and work on amendments or additions over the next thirty days so staff can start implementing the policy. Mr. Metayer stated his concerns are with an audit and definition of what is required in vendor contracts. Discussion followed regarding starting work now and what is needed in the policy. Mr. Coffman, Mr. Metayer, and Mr. Rogers agreed to coordinate and bring back changes to the policy to council. Scott Moser asked where it leaves facial recognition software with a delay in adoption. Mr. Hartshorn provided information stating staff will begin working through the policy to identify software that may need council consideration.
