Staff Report & Agenda Item Details
This request is to split a 50' by 140' lot into two lots. The objective is to build a single family house on the vacant property. This property would like to utilize one of the new zoning districts (RS-4) which allows for infill and medium-density single family housing. The RS-4 small lot residential zoning district allows for a smaller lot size and frontage being a minimum of 35' frontage and minimum lot size of 3000 sq. ft to 5,500 sq. ft. Across the road, new housing is being developed and lots which have additional land available for construction seem to be wanted by small home builders in the north part of town. This area is close to the Coliseum area and sits between the Chadbourne and Grape Creek Corridor.

The Planning Commission heard the case on August 17th and gave the recommendation of approval with a vote of 6-0.
