2026-0951 Approve an Economic and Community Development Grant Agreement with "The Stewpot" in the amount of $500,000 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: September 1, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: Fund 196 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve District 1 Economic and Community Development Program funding in an amount not to exceed $500,000; approve the Chapter 381 Economic Development Program Agreement between Dallas County and First Presbyterian Church of Dallas d/b/a The Stewpot; authorize the County Judge to execute the final agreement and all related documents; and grant the discretionary exemption stated in the agreement under Texas Local Government Code section 262.024(a)(10).
