This Project will consist of approximately 2,900 long, 29’ wide two-lane roadway from West Broad Street to Westhill Parkway in Phase 2 of the proposed Westhill Park subdivision. The project includes an approximately 500’ long bridge crossing Walnut Creek, and a 6’ wide concrete sidewalk along one side of the roadway and bridge with access to the future Walnut Creek Linear Trail. The project is nearing completed design while ROW acquisition is still ongoing. The improvements will provide access to the Westhill Park subdivision and establish a connection to Newt Patterson Road, creating an additional crossing of Walnut Creek and improving roadway connectivity west of downtown Mansfield. The project is included in the City’s Master Thoroughfare Plan and the 2025 Roadway Capital Improvement Plan.
