Mayor French read the aforementioned item. Robert Camareno presented this item to council using a powerpoint presentation and introduced Jared Werner, who also presented on this item to council and both answered questions. Jordan Matney also addressed council and answered questions. City Council deliberated and agreed to direct staff to continue moving forward with the scenario that was presented to council. The following individuals spoke at this time: David Warmke No action was taken at this time. Mayor French announced the public hearing for the tax rate and Proposed Budget will be held at a meeting beginning at 6:00 pm, Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 550 Landa Street, in the City Council Chambers. The FY 2027 Proposed Budget, along with the 2026 Tax rate, will be adopted on Monday, September 14, 2026, at a meeting beginning at 6:00 pm at 550 Landa Street, in the City Council Chambers.
