Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

Discuss damage to storm water lines serving golf course, weddi ng venue and Lifetime Fitness and possible impact on drainage and flooding i n vicinity. The President recognized Mr. Adams, who reported that BGE has evaluated options for addressing the drainage of the detention ponds around the golf course and Pinehurst Drive, which were impacted by the contractor of the Meritage Homes development in No. 151 damaging a storm sewer pipe that runs through their new detention pond. Mr. Adams presented an exhibit showing the analysis and a cost estimate for construction of proposed improvements, copies of which are attached hereto as Exhibit I. Discussion ensued. The Board concurred that it would be in the best int erest of Meritage, the wedding venue, the golf course, and Mr. Potter to make the repairs on a timely basis.
