<span style="margin-left:4.3pt;">Pursuant to Section 30.00006 of the Texas Government Code, Section 8.02 of the Watauga City Charter, and Sections 24-29, 24-30, 24-31, and 24-32 of the Watauga Code of Ordinances, the City Council of the City of Watauga has the authority to appoint an Interim Judge over the Municipal Court of Record for the City of Watauga.</span><br><br><span style="margin-left:4.3pt;">Due to the recent unexpected vacancy of the appointed Presiding Judge, it is recommended the City Council appoint an Interim Presiding Judge. The effective date is the date of passage of the ordinance and will continue until superseded by another ordinance.</span>
