Lake B Expansion and Lake J to serve Valencia (LJA Job No. 2791-6110) - The preliminary construction plans were submitted to the reviewing agencies on November 20, 2025, and we have received some comments. Advertising is planned to begin once the comments are addressed. (d) Approval of pay estimates, change orders, and final acceptance and direct engineer to notify insurance company of new facility, including: i. Water, Sanitary Sewer, and Drainage and Paving and Appurtenances to Serve Dogwood Avenue Phase 2 – Segment B and Valencia, Section 13; (LJA Job No. 2791-8006 & 2791-4113) - The Contractor is Crostex Construction. The notice to proceed was issued on March 3, 2025. The final inspection for Section 13 was held on November 19, 2025, and the final inspection for Dogwood Segment B was held on December 22, 2025. All punchlist items are complete. The project received initial acceptance at the City of Manvel City Council meeting on February 2, 2026. The notice to proceed was issued on March 3, 2025. The final inspection was held on December 22, 2025, and all punchlist items are complete. The project received initial acceptance at the City of Manvel City Council meeting on February 2, 2026. - Approve Progress Estimate No. 6 in the amount of $9,975.00. The notice to proceed was issued on June 3, 2025. The final inspection was held on December 22, 2025, and all punchlist items are complete. The project received initial acceptance at the City of Manvel City Council meeting on February 2, 2026. iv. Drainage, Paving and Appurtenances to Serve Pollard Boulevard Phase 2 – Segment D; (LJA Job No. 2791-8007) - The Contractor is D&J Construction. The notice to proceed was issued on April 21, 2025. A final inspection was held on December 11, 2025. The contractor is working on completion of the punch list items. v. Water, Sanity Sewer, and Drainage to Serve Charlotte Street Segment D and Dogwood Avenue Segment C; (LJA Job No. 2791-8008) - The contractor is Clearwater Utilities, Inc. The notice to proceed was issued on October 9, 2025. The contractor completed Stage I utilities on December 16, 2025. - Approve Progress Estimate No. 3 in the amount of $369,571.31. (Board Action Item) vi. Paving and Appurtenances to Serve Charlotte Street Segment D and Dogwood Avenue Segment C; (LJA Job No. 2791-8008P) - The contractor is Northtex Construction. The notice to proceed was issued January 5, 2026. Construction is ongoing. - Approve Progress Estimate No. 1 in the amount of $194,628.69. (Board Action Item) vii. Valencia Warranty TV Inspections – Phase I; (LJA Job. No. 3031-4101) - The contractor is Aims Companies. The notice to proceed was issued on November 5, 2025. The contractor has provided inspection videos for review, but there are a few missing lines. LJA is coordinating with the contractor to make sure all videos are received. The Notice to Proceed was issued for February 23, 2026. (e) Permits, deeds, easements, consents to encroachment, and utility commitment letters. - Nothing at this time. (f) Capital Improvement Plan - A draft of the 5-year CIP is attached.
