Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

Staff has been collaborating with Schneider Electric’s Energy & Sustainability Services (EBA) team over the past several months to evaluate opportunities for enhancing the capabilities of the City’s wastewater treatment plant. As a result of this ongoing partnership, Amendment No. 1 to the Investment Grade Audit (IGA) is being proposed to provide detailed, actionable insights that will inform the next phases of system upgrades. The audit will focus on identifying a prioritized list of capital improvement projects, with particular attention to addressing inflow and infiltration (I&I) issues, along with other operational concerns identified during the assessment process. This will serve as a critical step in developing a strategic roadmap for future improvements. The total cost of the proposed IGA is $180,000, which includes $132,500 for Phase 2 and $47,500 for Phase 3 of the project.
