In accordance with City Charter Section 3.04 the City Council members may elect a Mayor Pro-Tem. The Mayor Pro-Tem shall act as Mayor in case of the absence or inability of the Mayor to perform the duties of the office and in this capacity shall be vested with all of the powers conferred upon the Mayor. This appointment is conducted annually. Currently, Matt Phillips serves as Mayor Pro-Tem. Please advise if additional information is required.
