Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

Texas Materials Group, Inc. was previously awarded Purchase Order No. 39198 in the amount of $210,382.40 for pavement rehabilitation and resurfacing services on Dallas Street and 6th Street through the Ellis County Interlocal Cooperative Purchasing Agreement. During the course of the project, additional street repair work was identified as necessary to complete the improvements and maintain continuity of the pavement rehabilitation efforts. This amendment increases the not-to-exceed amount of Purchase Order No. 39198 from $210,382.40 to $235,113.39, an increase of $24,730.99. The additional funding is being offset by a corresponding decrease to Purchase Order No. 39199 with Texas Materials Group, Inc. for street repairs on Adams Lane; therefore, there is no net increase to the overall project expenditures previously approved by Council. The work will continue to be performed through the existing Interlocal Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with Ellis County, which allows the City to utilize competitively procured pricing for pavement rehabilitation and resurfacing services.
