The City of Allen has maintained a longstanding partnership with the City of Plano for the provision and use of regional radio communications services. This communication system provides radio coverage for Plano, Allen, Wylie, Murphy, Parker, Lucas and Fairview. In addition, Allen, Plano, and the Town of Fairview have operated under a three-party Communications Systems Agreement for approximately 11 years.
