Presenter: Stephanie Powelson-Garza Description: Donna Independent School District is committed to expanding high-quality instructional opportunities that accelerate student learning and improve academic outcomes. As part of this effort, the district will implement an Additional Days School Year (ADSY) calendar through the Summer Level Up Program for the 2025-2026 school year. ADSY provides districts with additional funding to offer up to 30 extra instructional days for eligible students, with a focus on targeted academic support in reading and mathematics. The Summer Level Up Program is designed to provide structured, TEKS-aligned instruction, incorporating both direct teacher-led instruction and adaptive learning through approved digital platforms.
