Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

The City of San Angelo Water Utilities Department recently requested rebids for the chemical purchase of Liquid Ammonium Sulfate for the Water Production Plant for use in the treatment of potable water. The respondents were also to meet certain specifications and delivery requirements. The previous bid for this chemical purchase was rejected due to the low bid coming in higher than anticipated. The City received three bids. The bid from Baker Services was bid using incorrect measures and was therefore void. Of the remaining two bids that did meet all criteria, the bid from Veoila ES Technical Solutions was the lowest.
