LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT Violet Mak of PEA Group (PEA), the District's landscape architects, reported as to the status of their work on design of the proposed Veterans Memorial Park. She presented and reviewed an updated design concept and renderings of the proposed memorial. After review and discussion, upon motion by Mr. Whisler, seconded by Mr. Pershall, and unanimously carried, the board approved the design concept as presented and asked that PEA prepare a cost estimate for construction of the memorial.
