Staff Report & Agenda Item Details
summary of the minutes of the February 10, 2025 meeting was read by board secretary Whisler. After discussion, upon motion by Mr. Armand, seconded by Mr. Rochow, and unanimously carried, the board approved the minutes of the February 10, 2025 meeting as presented. QUESTIONS/COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC The board recognized Lloyd Bratton with the Oak Creek Village HOA, who presented their request for a $.75 increase in the monthly security fee charged their homeowners. After discussion, upon motion by Mr. Armand, seconded by Mr. Pershall, and carried by four votes with Mr. Whisler abstaining due to his position on the HOA, the board approved the HOA's request. Glenny Plasencia of 3911 Brightwood presented her request for an adjustment to their account balance with the District, which has become unusually high due to a leak inside their home that has since been repaired. After discussion, upon motion by Mr. Pershall, seconded by Mr. Armand, and unanimously carried, the board approved the request consistent with District policies allowing a one-time adjustment, but with no adjustment to the RWA fee, which is a cost incurred by the District and not subject to adjustment. Brook Ballweg of the Olde Oaks HOA asked that the District consider sharing costs with the HOA to install Flock Cameras at the entrances to Olde Oaks Section 2 on both ends of Brightwood. Current pricing would total $6,000 annually for 2 cameras, plus $1300 for installation. The HOA is proposing to split the costs with the District 50/50. After discussion, upon motion by Mr. Armand, seconded by Mr. Whisler, and unanimously carried, the board approved this request. The HOA is waiting to hear whether MUD 44 and NW MUD 20 will contribute.
