RENEW INSURANCE Last month, Dan McDonald of McDonald & Wessendorff, the District’s insurance agent, presented their proposal to renew the District’s various insurance policies for the coming policy year. The board deferred action pending an opportunity for Mr. McDonald to look into the possibility of changes in coverage that may be advantageous to the District, and for Mr. Pershall to review the coverages provided by the cyber liability policy. Mr. McDonald has since provided a revised proposal reflecting a lower deductible on the Boiler and Machinery policy. Mr. Pershall has some unanswered questions with respect to the cyber liability coverage. After discussion, upon motion by Mr. Whisler, seconded by Mr. Armand, and unanimously carried, the board approved the insurance renewal proposal as presented this evening, subject however to any revisions in coverage that the board may request during the policy year.
