WASTEWATER TREATMENT AGREEMENT The board met in joint session with the Fountainhead MUD directors for discussion regarding the proposed Wastewater Treatment Agreement between the districts, in particular regarding the monthly service fee to be paid by Bammel to Fountainhead. The Fountainhead directors are focused on ensuring that they cover their costs of providing service, and the Bammel directors want to be sure that they are paying only for sewer service. Discussion regarding these concerns was introduced by Mark W. Brooks of Young & Brooks, the attorneys for Bammel, and lead by Bammel director Whisler and Fountainhead director Cemer. After review of applicable materials and discussion, it was the consensus of the two boards that concerns could be addressed by provision for an annual review and comparison of service charges paid by Bammel with expenses incurred by Fountainhead. The Fountainhead board authorized Bammel to receive copies of bookkeeping ledgers for Fountainhead’s applicable budget items. The two boards thanked each other for their willingness to hear and address each other's concerns and, there being no further business to come before the board, the meeting was adjourned.
