COMMENTS BY THE PRESIDENT Board president Nick Fava welcomed everyone attending the meeting tonight. He recognized Melissa Rowell, Vice President of the North Harris County Regional Water Authority, who is visiting tonight. She thanked the board for the standing invitation to attend the board’s meetings, and for the board’s attendance at the Authority’s meetings as well. Mr. Fava emphasized the need for the District’s consultants to attend all regular District board meetings, even when they occasionally need to be rescheduled.
