2026-0852 Consider and approve the request for the addition of a Microbiologist II (Grade G) Position funded through the Public Health Infrastructure Grant – Laboratory Response Network (PHIG-LRN) (DSHS Contract No. HHS001593800002) On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: August 4, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: Fund: 46600 Project: 08985 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the request for the addition of a Microbiologist II (Grade G) Position funded through the Public Health Infrastructure Grant – Laboratory Response Network (PHIG-LRN) (DSHS Contract No. HHS001593800002).
