Executive session pursuant to Texas Government Code § 551.071 and Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct Rule 1.05 to consult with attorneys concerning legal issues regarding the validity, interpretation, application, and enforcement of the City’s short-term rental regulations, including Chapter 5, Article II of the Corpus Christi Code, related permitting requirements and administrative actions; and the September 29, 2026 notice of claim submitted on behalf of Christopher Munro and C&M Real Estate Holding, LLC d/b/a Coastal Family Homes alleging state-law preemption under the Texas Regulatory Consistency Act, including contemplated litigation and legal strategy concerning the foregoing matters.
