The Operations report was provided at the meeting. Mr. Benefiel gave updates on several of the projects within the District. Mr. Benefiel talked a little about the recent rain events and said that all 5 pumps were running to keep up with the heavy rain. Mr. Benefiel provided slides of the Ledbetter Sump, with the rocks added as Director Correa termed it, “Friction Velocity” purposes. Ms. Christi Matthys was in attendance for Three Box. Ms. Matthys commented that Three Box is focusing on updating the residents on project updates, especially the Levee Recertification process and status. The next public event that IFCD3 will participate in is the Keep Irving Beautiful Trash Bash in September. Director Arceo has volunteered to help out in this event.
