Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

Discussion and possible action to approve renewal of IRR-2020-WX-12 – Thomas Mike Barker for 60 AF/YR from the Wilcox Aquifer for an additional five years [Valid May 1, 2026 – April 30, 2031] – Ms. Cochran gave a brief overview of Mr. Barker’s irrigation permit. During the renewal process, the District conducted a site visit to verify the GPS coordinates of the well. The coordinates listed on the well log were incorrect. The District supplied the driller (Herbold) with the corrected coordinates and Herbold has updated the well log at TWDB and re-submitted to the District. The permit renewal application is administratively complete and meets the requirements under GCGCD Rule 5.3(g) for a 5-year renewal. Motion to approve the renewal of IRR-2020-WX-12 for another five years by Matt Miranda. Second by Jeff Schuehle. Motion approved.
