Invitation of citizens or Directors to speak in advance of District’s regular business (limited to 3 minutes each – agenda items/non-agenda items): After 20 years of dedicated service, Mr. Jones has decided to retire from the Board of Directors at GCGCD. Mr. Jones shared memories of when he first joined the Board with Ron Naumann, then the District President, introducing him to the water providers. He thanked Mr. Bill Klemt for sharing his expertise over the years. Mr. Jones spoke about his community service, his respect for the Board, and all of the people he has worked with all these years. Mr. Schuehle, Ms. Cochran, and Mr. Starcke shared words of gratitude and presented Mr. Jones with a glass water droplet engraved honoring his years of dedication to the preservation and conservation of groundwater.
