The Board of Directors received a report from the District Engineer on ongoing projects, including: a. NAD Bank Technical Assistance Agreement (Sewer Hook-ups). SAMES provided the following summary progress report update: Preliminary Planning Progress, Engineering Design Progress, Procurement Progress, and Award & Notice to Proceed Progress have been completed for Phase 2. The construction notice to proceed was issued on May 8, 2024, with a substantial completion of February 2, 2025 (270 calendar days) and a construction final completion date of March 4, 2025 (300 calendar days), March 26, 2025 (with 22 days added from Change Order 2) and August 31, 2025 (with 180 days added to amended Change Order 2). Mor-Wil (contractor) milled and overlayed new pavement at the project site. Construction is approximately 99% complete, pending the completion of punchlist. Past schedule by 185 days as of September 5, 2025. SH 495 (Veterans Blvd.) Utility Relocation & Adjustments Project - SAMES provided the following summary progress report update: Preliminary planning progress is completed. Engineering design progress is currently in progress. Bid Codes were submitted to TxDOT and continue to progress through the plan set, and plans to complete them in September.
