Discussion and possible action to address issues related to the unpermitted status of State of Texas Well Report Tracking #720150, Audie Howell – Motion by Jamie Nielson to instruct Ms. Cochran to direct Mike Gershon to (1) send a letter to Mr. Howell stating he must not use the well until it can be properly permitted and (2) send notice for a Show Cause Hearing to be held on July 9th for both Mr. Howell and Mr. Hatcher to address alleged violations of District rules. At Mr. Gershon’s discretion, the notice may be combined into one hearing, as the matters are related. Second by Robert Raetzsch. There were discussions related to compliance challenges due to the water rights within the area of influence not being held by Mr. Howell - rule 5.4(f) and well spacing issues of the drilled location being in violation of rule 5.4(c). Motion passed.
