2. Consider landscaping and maintenance agreement and take appropriate action. Ms. Cook presented Yellowstone Landscaping’s contract addendum and discussed the company’s request to increase its annual contract amount by $3,368.35. Ms. Cook also provided proposals from two additional landscaping companies for the Board’s review to allow for a comparison of services and pricing. Discussion ensued. Director Maxwell suggested that Ms. Cook return to the next Parks Committee meeting with a comparison chart that itemizes each company’s proposed services and corresponding costs, as the current landscaping contract does not expire until December. This would allow the Board to conduct a more comprehensive evaluation before making a decision. Director Evans also requested that Ms. Cook obtain proposals from three additional landscaping companies to provide the Board with a broader comparison of available options.
