Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

3. Discuss bookkeeping matters and take appropriate action. Director Jacobs recognized Mrs. Cook, who presented to and reviewed with the Board the performance evaluation of the district’s bookkeeper. Mrs. Cook informed the Board that she met with Mrs. Pfeffer and Director Jacobs a few weeks prior and discussed categories of Mrs. Pfeffer’s evaluation including time management, communication, teamwork, behavior, and workload. Discussion ensued. Director Randall suggested Mrs. Cook assist with Ms. Pfeffer’s pending reports by comparing the reports needed first. Director Smith-Boards recommended utilizing the district attorney if Mrs. Cook and Ms. Pfeffer were unable to get a response from other districts on the reports needed. Director Higgins instructed Mrs. Pfeffer to include in her monthly report a list of pending items and who they are pending the information from. Director Higgins stated this addition to her monthly report would help make the Board aware of the pending items and escalate the matter if necessary. No action was taken. THERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS TO COME BEFORE THE BOARD, the meeting was adjourned. 136080032.1 FORT BEND COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 131 SPECIAL N O T I C E In accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, take notice that the Board of Directors of Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 131 will meet in special session, open to the public, at Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP, 1301 McKinney, Suite 5100, Houston, Texas 77010, and by teleconference at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023.
