Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

Bob Evart presented a memorandum dated June 17, 2026 regarding the selection of bank depository. We published requests for applications in the Hood Count News May 16th and 23rd and as well on our website. B. Evart reported he found language afterwards that states MUD's do not need to bid for bank depository. Prior to going through a bidding process for a bank depository in the future, Staff will verify if municipal districts are required to go through the bidding process. A proposal was received from First National Bank, our current depository. In comparing with the proposal received in 2021, the new proposal is very similar. Staff recommends the proposal for bank depository from First National Bank of Granbury with the variable rate option. After discussion, a motion was made to approve the proposal from First National Bank of Granbury under the variable rate option. Motion: Second: Vote: Rose Maunder All ayes
