8. Engineer Report. Mr. Wilson recognized Mr. Bishop, who presented to and reviewed the Board the Engineer’s Report, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit L. Mr. Bishop reported on the recreation center project. He stated that the contractor, Johnson Services, replaced the concrete stage and is working to restore the site and regrade a portion of the northern side slope of the detention basin. He noted that a damaged portion of existing sidewalk was in need repair and that Beyer Construction provided a cost of $1,250 to remove and replace the sidewalk panel. He stated that Beyer Construction completed the replacement and that Quiddity recommends payment to the contractor. Upon motion by Director Smith-Boards, seconded by Director Boyd, after full discussion and the question being put to the Board, the Board voted unanimously to approve the payment of $1,250 to Beyer Construction. Mr. Bishop reported on the Southern Colony Development. He stated that Quiddity has not received revised plans from the developer’s engineer following the last plan review letter dated March 3, 2022. He noted that the developer’s engineer is working to obtain Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (“TCEQ”) approvals and plans to submit revised plans for Quiddity’s review this month. Mr. Bishop reported on the Interconnect with Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 189 (“No. 189”). He stated that in 2007, the District and No. 189 entered into an emergency water interconnect agreement and that the agreement was amended in 2008. He noted that the agreement calls for 189 to construct the necessary waterline and meter to connect to the District’s existing water distribution system. He stated that the District’s previous engineer designed the waterline, received TCEQ approval and issued a no objection letter from the District dated February 25, 2021. H
