Staff Report & Agenda Item Details
Richard English presented a memorandum dated August 14, 2026 regarding our rate analysis. New rate models were also presented for Board review. As stated in the memo, the revenue projections presented in the fiscal year 2027 budget are conservative values, and with the exception of an extremely wet year should be achieved. Staff does not recommend a rate increase at this time. R. English does however recommend that we get rid of the Non-District Residential and Non-District Commercial rates and roll them into the same rates as In-District Residential and In- District Commercial rates. After discussion, a motion was made to roll all Non-District Residential and Non- District Commercial water and sewer rates into the same rate structure as In-District Residential and In-District Commercial rates.
