The Board of Directors received a report from the District Engineer on ongoing projects, including: a. SH 495 (Veterans Blvd.) Utility Relocation & Adjustments Project -SAMES provided the following summary progress report update: Preliminary planning progress is completed. Engineering design progress is currently in progress, and work is underway on a 100% set of construction documents. SAMES has completed the specifications and submitted them to TxDOT. Agua SUD has received a quote for the removal of the existing, abandoned Lift Station. b. Alternative Capacity Requirement (ACR) — SAMES provided an update regarding the meeting held between SAMES, Agua SUD, and CAPEX. Adjustments were discussed, along with new project additions and updates to proposed projects. Agua SUD’s current goal is to be completed by February 2026.
