Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

7. Discuss security contract renewal. Mr. Graham recognized Mr. Jenkins, who stated that he did not have any recommended changes to the security contract. He stated he will provide the certificate of insurance to NRF. Ms. Cook reported that the current contract expires January 24, 2025. Mr. Graham stated that the Board can approve the contract renewal with revising the term date and adding automatic renewal language contingent upon receiving the certificate of insurance. Director Smith-Boards noted that the days in the contract need to be corrected to Saturday through Sunday. Mr. Graham noted that the contract can be placed on the January agenda so the Board can review the final contract. Upon motion by Director Smith-Boards, seconded by Director Randall, after full discussion and the question being put to the Board, the Board voted unanimously to approve the security contract renewal contingent upon receiving the certificate of insurance from Shield Guard, and updating the term date and working day schedule.
