The Operations report was provided at the meeting. Mr. Benefiel commented that there has been “no rain” for a while. Mr. Benefiel provided to the Board that 45 tons of trash for the year has been collected. Mr. Benefiel stated that the Discharge Pipe Inspection and Rehab project is almost completed. Mr. Benefiel commented that Scoop is ready to run once contractor’s trailers are out of the way. In the future for Scoop some permanent launch pads are being considered. Director Arceo did ask Mr. Benefiel for a comparison amount of savings that Scoop is providing verses staff collection of trash previously.
