IV.A. Teacher of the Month Presenter: Rick Kirkpatrick/Dr. Kelly Avritt Description: Congratulations to Mrs. Heather Bowman for being recognized as the FISD Teacher of the Month for August. From her nomination: "Mrs. Bowman went above and beyond to help set our team up for a successful start to the school year. Before we even returned to campus, she thoughtfully prepared and organized important resources and identification paperwork, so everything was ready and easily accessible when students arrived. She continues to be an incredible teacher, teammate, and source of support. Heather has taken on the added responsibility of helping others learn the many pieces of Special Education paperwork while also stepping in wherever she is needed. She is always willing to help, answer questions, and support those around her. We are so thankful for the time, care, and teamwork she brings to FMS!"
