2026-0405 Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) 2024 Local Communities Program On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: April 7, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: Grant Funding Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the submission of an application upon invitation for the 2024 Local Communities Program administered by the Texas General Land Office and authorizes the County Judge to sign all related documents. Done in open Court April 7, 2026 by the following vote: IN FAVOR: County Judge Clay Jenkins, Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, Commissioner John Wiley Price, Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and Commissioner Andrew Sommerman OPPOSED: None
