Director Whitaker discussed the Atasc ocita Community Improvement Association’s (“ACIA”) contract for security and the security issue s at the business district. Lieutenant Romero and Captain Gheen discussed the security iss ues at the business district. Lieutenant Romero discussed contract options for security for the Board’s consideration. Mr. Bezdek stated that No. 152 pays for their security services through their water rates. Captain Gheen discussed the deadline for contracts for the next fiscal year and noted that the Constable’s office 203200634.2 would need confirmation by the end of July. Mr. Bezdek, Lieutenant Romero and Ca ptain Gheen left the meeting at this time. Ms. Ellison suggested the Board have a special meeting if they wante d to discuss this matter before the deadline.
