Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

Thus request is to rezone a property for future development located at 3. E 9th Street. The property lies within the TIRZ North district and a qualification of funding is to rezone a property from the CG/CH General Commercial/Heavy Commercial to another zoning district. The Visions plan is Commercial along the Chadbourne Corridor. This property is a boarded building due to a previous fire and the current property owner is looking a opening either a small business or a Short Term Rental at the location. They have chosen the General Commercial zoning district, which is appropriate as this is the first developed lot adjacent to N. Chadbourne. City staff recommenced approval at the August 17th Planning Commission. The Planning Commission recommended approval with a 6-0 vote.
