2026-0805 County Court at Law #3 - Request for Double-Fill of Court Coordinator, Position #4405 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: August 4, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: General Fund (12000) Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve a double-fill for the County Court at Law #3, Court Coordinator position (#4405) at an estimated cost of $33,750 ($2,250 per week) with funding available within budget (100.12000.4503.61030.40000). The three criteria established in the County’s double-fill policy are met with this request. The existing staff in the office cannot absorb the additional workload because of a vacancy in the office.
