Staff Report & Agenda Item Details
Item #12- Danforth WISD NOAV - Notice of Alleged Violation Board & Staff: Jimmy Skipton: o Understands and sympathizes with WISD for the unfortunate circumstance. Doesn't feel that the school district did anything maliciously. Greg Nesbitt: o The contractor failed WISD. o Both the District and WISD need funds, but I have an issue with money for NOAV coming from one group of tax payers to another. o The NOAV got the attention of WISD just as intended. The fine is not going to replenish the water. Doc Jones: o In the past the Board has made exceptions and adjusted tine amounts. Linda Kaye Rogers: o Suggested the Board consider an 88% and 12% split as they have agreed to do in the past for other NOAV recipients. Jimmy Skipton: Of the $1460.63 NOAV already paid by W1SD, refund 88% to W1SD. Reason being, the school district has already spent 88% on conservation efforts.
