Tax Assessor and Collector’s Report and Standby Fee Report. The President recognized Ms. Hall, who presented to and reviewed with the Board the Tax Assessor and Collector’s Report for February 2021, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit C. Ms. Hall stated that as of February 2021, the District had collected 94.6% of its 2020 taxes. Director Riley inquired about the refunding checks and the unusual amount of the two checks. Ms. Hall stated that the refund is for Core Logic, this company is a servicing company for mortgage companies. She stated that they made multiple over payments. Ms. Hall stated there are seven checks being presented for review and approval. Discussion ensued on the stand by fees and the percentage comparison for the 2020 taxes. Upon motion by Director Silverman, seconded by Director Machen, after full discussion and the question being put to the Board, the Board voted unanimously to accept the Tax Assessor and Collector’s Report, and to approve payment of District check numbers 3703 through 3709 to the recipients and in the amounts noted therein, and approve the standby report.
