Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

Report on Construction Projects Including Authorization to Advertise, Bids, Award of Contracts, Estimates, and Change Orders: Langford is proceeding with design for construction of a replacement of the East ground storage tank. Surveying has been completed. Geotechnical testing is complete. We are designing based on a smaller capacity tank. The Current tank is 420,00 gallons and we are proposing a 310,000-gallon tank. This will save costs and still meet the minimum 200 gallons per ESFC per TCEQ requirements. The tank will be 24 feet tall which is the same height as the existing tanks. We Have submitted the design plans to City of Houston and TCEQ. We are awaiting responses.
