Engineer’s Items: a) Storm Water Management Plan/MS4 – We sent Director Moore inlet markers and glue to replace some of the missing markers. We will revise the storm sewer inlet map once the new markers are replaced. b) Nutria Removal – Pest Police will complete a site visit this month. c) Radar Signs – We completed a site visit and downloaded data from the radar signs around the District last month. One sign was not operational, and your operator will send it in to be overhauled. We included a graph from a radar sign on Magnolia Parkway/Southfork Drive as a representation of the data that was collected. We can provide additional data for other signs if requested. d) Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Phase I – We completed the 1-year warranty inspection on April 27, 2021 and provided the punch list items to the contractor. e) Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Phase II – The contractor is working on Clarifier No. 1. We prepared Pay Estimate No. 1 and recommend payment in the amount of $86,644.80. The District’s share is $18,212.33. We prepared a letter to the regional participants requesting a deposit for 20% of the construction costs and the remaining engineering fees. We will send the letter to the regional participants today. f) Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Phase III – We informed the other districts we will replace the existing diesel generator with a natural gas generator. Attached is the revised cost estimate to include the natural gas generator. g) Lift Station No. 6 Improvements – The contractor will mobilize once the equipment is delivered. We are waiting for a revised schedule.
