Energy, Streetlights, Etc. The attorney gave an update on the Public Power Pool and its proposed procurement process for a power contract to begin in 2026. He explained that the District could "opt out" by adopting a resolution to that effect. The Board chose not to do so. The Board also chose not to exercise the option to request "pure" renewable power (as opposed to a blend). There was a motion to approve the authorized transaction period recommended by the Pool (ending November 8, 2025). The motion was seconded and adopted.
