Staff Report & Agenda Item Details

As a governmental body, the San Antonio River Authority is required to post written notice of the date, hour, place and subject of each meeting to ensure the public has a meaningful opportunity to inform itself concerning the transactions of public business and participate in the democratic process. The current bylaws of the San Antonio River Authority require written notice to Board of Directors no later than five (5) days prior to a meeting. In September 2025, the Texas Open Meetings Act, ("Act") changed the notice timeframe from 72 hours to three (3) full business days before the day of the meeting. As a result of this change, the San Antonio River Authority is now required to post earlier.
